One of the four North Quad dorms, Boswell was constructed in 1949 and renovated in both 1990 and 2003. The 2003 renovation included the addition of new rooms, referred to by students as "Bos Pod," and an expanded lounge. It is 15,655 square feet and was named after Colonel James Boswell.
