Student Connection is a student-led program that pairs trained college students with local 6th-to-12th-grade students in the Pomona school district, partnering with the non-profit Uncommon Good to provide free, one-on-one, high-impact peer tutoring and mentoring. This initiative empowers youth and offers equitable academic support to families impacted by systemic inequities while promoting civic understanding, public participation, and meaningful community engagement.
