In 1942, nine-year-old Sam Mihara, a U.S. citizen living in San Francisco, was forcibly removed from his home by the U.S. government. Along with his family, he was placed in a desolate prison camp in Northern Wyoming for three years. In his presentation, Mihara will describe what daily life was like in the camp, including what they ate and how his family of four was crammed into a single small room. He also shares photos from his incarceration and ultimately addresses a critical question: could this happen again?
